Captain Ed Parker
I have been an avid boater and fisherman on Lake Erie for 38 years. I have earned a Master Captain license from the United States Coast Guard in addition to my Lake Erie Guide license. My wife Julie and I love spending our summers on the boat with our son Vaughn and truly believe that Lake Erie is Ohio’s best natural resource.
My first memories of fishing are with my dad and grandfather on the Oregon Coast. I was six years old. We would set out our crab pots and fish for flounder, perch, and steelhead in the bay. I never knew how lucky I was to be eating plates full of crab meat for dinner.
Today, my passion for fishing keeps these memories alive. I view myself as an outdoorsman who feels blessed to have met so many interesting individuals throughout my life.
