Crabbing 101

The crab fishing has been perfect. A few chicken legs with some rotten cut up Salmon and you will get your limit. I sure do miss Grandma Martha - as a kid, I never knew how lucky I was to have her crack mounds of crab for us. There’s nothing sweeter than the taste of fresh Dungeness.

Wow, what a place to spend a month! I have caught King, Coho, Sockeye, and Pink salmon, also called Humpys. While we were fishing a pod of Orca whales cruised by our boat. The crabbing has been awesome! My pictures will show how great it has been. Someday you may have to come to the San Juan Islands to fish on the Parker Here!!

Thanks to Pooh Bear Charter for letting me take the crew from Dynamix for a casting charter. As you can see no records where broken but the fish are starting to turn on. We had perfect weather. We threw worm harnesses and some weight forward old school Erie dearies. The fish where caught on Niagra reef and flat rock shoal. Thanks again guys. Captain Ed.

These guys are hard core fisherman...We did connect on a wall hanger. 11 lbs 6 oz 30” walleye. I will write more when they send me pics. Oh yea, next time bring me some Yuengling Brew. Then I will have the motivation to find the real hot spots... Ed
